Transience is the quiet fleeting nature of existence captured through this fine art photography series. It reveals the invisible presence of wind as it moves through flowers bending and shifting in movements that last only moments. Each image holds the beauty of change the inevitability of motion and the passing of time. In this work transience is both subject and witness a reminder that life like the wind cannot be held only observed, felt and remembered.

This series was created by working with the wind not against it. Instead of freezing movement I used slow shutter speeds to let the wind leave its mark. The flowers move as they naturally would and the wind shapes each frame. Nothing is staged or fixed. The photograph exists only in the moment movement and stillness meet.

Each artwork is offered in a coloured frame and produced in a limited edition of 8 prints in total, across all sizes.
